Black Nickel Plating Kit
This kit gives a beautiful translucent Black Nickel coating over most metals including nickel, copper, brass, tin, steel, stainless steel and zinc.
Mix up the chemicals with distilled water, clean your parts with the included degreaser and then hang into the Black Nickel solution. Plate for 2-10 minutes at 0.01 amps per square inch.
Low amperage requirements mean you can plate larger objects with a small rectifier. For example, a part about the size of an orange (100 square inches) would only require 1 amp to plate.
The 15 Gallon Kit Contains:
- 2 x 20 Gal Plating Tank & Lids
- 2 x 18" x 20" Nickel Anodes and Bandages
- 10 Packs Black Nickel Powder (Makes 15 Gallons)
- 4 Pack SP Degreaser (Makes 16 Gallons)
- Circulation Pump

The depth of color can be modified slightly by increasing the amperage. Higher amps provide a more solid black color.
The kit does not contain any Hazardous Goods and can be shipped anywhere.
Recommended Skill Level
Intermediate level products require some extra work before use, or multiple steps to achieve end results. Intermediate level products can certainly be used by novices, but extra time, patience and research will greatly help get great results.
