Product Description
Easily spot blacken steel (not stainless) or iron. Simply apply the black oxide gel where you want the blackening to occur. The gel keeps the blackener in place. Leave it on the part for 1-3 minutes and rinse off. Seal with Caswell Sealer for a dry finish.

cold blue from many different makers have stained these poor hands, but nothing..NOTHING gives a better black surface than this gel. A beautiful, gleaming coal black surface.

This stuff is awesome. Hands down the best way to cold blue/black oxidize parts. The gel keeps it in place and lets it get to a nice dark even finish. Much nicer than dip blueing in Birchwood Casey cold blues.
