Product Description
Easily spot blacken steel (not stainless) or iron. Simply apply the black oxide gel where you want the blackening to occur. The gel keeps the blackener in place. Leave it on the part for 1-3 minutes and rinse off. Seal with Caswell Sealer for a dry finish.

Great stuff
Prepare your metal well and apply an even coat. It doesn't have to be perfect, but if you have a heavy blob with a thin coat beside it, it will look different. If you want, you can steel wool or buff it right off and try again.
