Plug N' Plate® is a new concept in plating small parts. Our unique mains power pack supplies just the right amount of power allowing you to brush, and in some situations, dip plate your smaller components.
The Plug N' Plate® system will also allow you to patch repair areas where the original plating has worn away.
Plug N' Plate® is ideal for vintage vehicle restorers, antique collectors and dealers, and small workshops doing prototype work.
What could be simpler? The Plug N' Plate® wand is attached to the red plug on the Power Pack, and the alligator clip is attached to the work-piece. The end of the wand is covered in an absorbent bandage, which is soaked in the plating solution for a few seconds.
By simply stroking the part with swift brush strokes, the circuit is closed and the plating metal bearing solution goes to work, depositing its beautiful layer onto the object.
Plug N' Plate® is perfect for gold plating car emblems. Simply strip the chrome off with Chrome Stripper, then apply the gold. Full instructions are included.
Plug N' Plate® may be applied onto most metals. To see which kit plates onto which metal, read our instruction booklet. To plate onto Stainless Steel, use the Plug N' Plate® Copper system. When gold plating onto stainless, apply our Stainless Steel Activator For Gold with a stainless wand and 4.5V power pack, then you may gold plate directly onto the stainless part.
Aluminum can be plated with the Acid Copper Plug N Plate system, after prepping your part with Zincate.
Plastic parts can also be plated with our Acid Copper Plug N Plate system after painting with conductive paint and swabbed with Tinning Solution.

Does an awesome job and so easy to use!
I purchased my first Plug N' Plate Silver Plating kit at the beginning of 2015. I had recently become slightly obsessed with purchasing vintage and antique silverplate pieces on eBay and had noticed the obvious correlation between price and perceived flaws such as plate wear and nicks of missing plate on items. After a cursory google search on how to repair plating at home, I was led to the Caswell Plating site's section of Plug N' Plate kits. Given the general lack of enthusiasm for any other methods I looked into, it was a no-brainer for me to give the kit a try. It arrived quickly and well packaged, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was a bit discouraged by smutting at first, but soon found my "groove" leading an absolute beginner like myself at the time being able to restore beautiful old pieces easily and at an amazing price point! I recently purchased a new kit after my first one was damaged during a move and it's just as awesome as the first one! I highly recommend this kit to anyone wanting to easily spot plate items at home without the cost and dangerous chemicals needed to use other methods. Thank you Caswell Plating!

I used this to do some touch ups on a silver plated trumpet that had some burn throughs in the silver. This was really easy to use, and it made a seamless repair. What a great value for an excellent product! Highly recommended!

Fast and easy!!
I use the PLUG N' PLATE for silver on HF amateur radio amplifier tank circuits. Just follow the simple directions in the video and your results will look amazing! Within 15 minutes of opening the package, my parts were plated and installed back into the unit. Again, just follow the simple instructions ( have toothpaste at the ready, and you will have beautiful silver plated tank coils As soon as I finish this review, I will be ordering more of the silver plating solution, as well as a copper and gold kit! If you are "on the fence" about getting this system, please take my word for it IT WORKS GREAT !
