GREASELESS COMPOUNDS - Greaseless Buffing compounds may be applied to almost any cloth buffing wheel, (sisal, spiral sewn cotton & loose cotton) turning it into a tough flexible grinding wheel. The roughest casting edges can quickly removed. These materials do an excellent job of leveling highly contoured surfaces quickly.
Store at room temperature or below.
We recommend shipping these products by air during summer months to ensure the product does not melt during shipping.
For best performance, and to make your greasless compound last longer on the buff, treat the wheel with Glu-Tite before applying the compound.

Great value
You can't beat the value of buying the entire kit versus separate purchases. If you're looking for a mirror finish you cant beat the full spectrum of grits that the kit offers, minus the emery compound and jewelers rouge. I've looked elsewhere for a better value and this takes the prize.

Great Stuff
I'm using these compounds for restoring antique/vintage straight razors. They have saved me a ton of hours of hand sanding, and have allowed me to take on projects I would have passed on previously. The quality of the compounds is excellent, with a very consistent grit size... I'm a happy camper!

Super impressed with these compounds
Be sure to apply them slowly, using Glu-Tite prep ahead of time will help out a ton. I had been using a custom built jig to wet sand wheels by spinning the wheel and holding paper to the lips but just couldn't get the rpm that a drill provided to get timely results. These have sped up my projects 100x

Very good stuff
I used these compounds for razor restoration. They work perfectly. Also, I use them with my Dremel - there's no need to buy sanding cylinders anymore.

Greaseless buffing compound workd great!
I've just gotten into the buffing side of things and am learning as I go. With Caswell products its easier than I thought. Getting the initial surface smooth enough to start is a snap with these compounds. Works great.

Why didn't I buy these sooner!
I am absolutely in love with these products. If you are struggling to remove small dents and scratches with a sisal wheel and a coarse cutting compound, then these are for you. If I use these before buffing I can now get to a finish which is equal to a finish from a professional. I also used the glue prep as well. I find that adding the compound and letting it dry hard is far more effective than going straight away with it. The cut is nice and clean as well, no grease at all. I live in a hot climate so I am keeping these in the fridge for now. They are a bit smelly so they are in an old fridge rather than in with your food!
