Product Description
Nickel Acetate based sealer. Use at the rate of 1 oz to 1 gal of water. This 1 lb bag makes 16 gallons. Bath life is 14-60 days, depending on use. Heat to 210 deg F, and seal for 5-30 minutes.

Amazing
Works much better than boiling water alone

Sealed fast no color loss
For any one who has been boiling water to seal, I have to tell you make the choice to buy this product. The seal works great doesnt dilute your color. I personally never had a problem with powder like residue. However make sure you have a fume hood or well ventilated area. When the solution reaches temp it gives off a strong odor. Be safe

Great stuff!
I was using boiling water to seal my anodized projects, but was having significant problems with the dyes leaching out during the sealing process. I read about nickel acetate and decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did! It sealed very nicely without letting any dye escape. There's a fine powdery residue left on areas of the pieces after sealing, but it can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
