Product Description
This kit is ideal for repairing small damaged areas of chrome, perhaps a small scratch in a bumper, which left untended, would rust causing further damage. Buffing to remove any existing rust, then brush plating with Copy Chrome® can prevent further rusting and almost eliminate the visibility of the scratch.Safety Information

Copy Chrome very impressive!
Easy to apply and very effective. Have enjoyed plating cast iron parts with this product. Experimenting around have been using copper as an underplate then the copy chrome (on cast iron). This may or maynot be the proper procedure but the results are terrific!

Very Impressed!
Success re-chroming a bare patch on a part belonging to an antique bathroom scale. Then tried "chroming" a cast iron vise part: amazing!

Not quite chrome
Although an amazing product, when compared side by side to standard triple chrome plating, Copy Chrome is warmer in appearance. This is likely due to the buffed copper electroplating that I laid down first. It simply shows through the transparently thin copy chrome layer. When reading about Copy Chrome. the solution is simply "More". This makes sense, and I am continuing with more layers by brush-plating to thicken the layering. Yet, so far, it is very nice- yet warmer in appearance than real "cold" chrome plating.

Great kit to do small parts
If you don't have enough large parts to do and just have tiny small parts, the plug n plate kits are what you want. They plate just as nicely as the large kits and offer and affordable method of plating in small scale.

Ordered the bulk kit
And everything worked as it should as long as you did your job with it and had clean parts at the proper power settings.
