Great Product
I have used the vented buffing wheel for polishing firearms, especially stainless steel or nickel plated revolvers. They give just enough to get into the areas the sewn wheels can't. They color nicely and last a while longer than other brands I have bought.

Does what it's supposed to...
Running one of these on a 1HP buffer, it works great to cut down large swaths of material with black compound. I haven't used it with anything else. Beware though, this baby moves a serious amount of air. When I fired this baby up, it was like standing in a wind tunnel. The vented pleats really make a powerful draft. I also think the 8" is better suited, as you can apply more pressure. It's moving wayyy fast at 3450rpm. The 8" seems to be just about perfect, at least for the stuff I'm doing. I'll keep the 10" for larger items that need a quick re-face, but I'll run 8" in the future for other operations. I can see the 4" version working quite well on a die grinder, so I'll invest in those in the future.
