Works great but it is a little hard
I use it to finish hone knives, chisles, gouges, plane irons and it works well. I use a stone followed by white compound and then this. Depending on what I'm doing I put it on a piece of MDF, a paper wheel, or on a leather strop. The only problem with it is that it is too hard to spread evenly. It goes down like a crayon. This is easily fixed by mixing it with some baby oil until I get a soft paste. It lasts a long time. This bar is a lifetime supply.
