Our newest buffing wheel, the denim buffing wheel, is soft enough for any buffing application that calls for cotton wheels, but, because of the sturdy denim construction, it lasts much, much longer than a cotton buff. The faces of these wheels are pre-raked to accept compound immediately. Use With Any Compound

I've only used this a couple of times. So far, it is shredding a lot, throwing out long filaments, not taking compound well. But I imagine it will get better as I use it more.

Great Product
I purchased 6 of these to start my razor restoration workshop and have been quite happy with the product after about 1 months use. The denim is soft but sturdy and takes the greaseless compound easily. The wheel itself is stitched together very well and the quality is top notch. When raking they make quite a mess which is expected but some strands of the denim don't quite rake out evenly. This can be resolved easily by hand pulling the random strand or taking scissors to the rogue denim. I cannot stress enough how great the quality is!! I would definitely recommend this product to others!
