Product Description
Canton Flannel is very soft, and this wheel is loosely stitched, so the layers of cloth flare out to give a wide angle ultra smooth polishing surface. Generally used with the BLUE or RED compound, this wheel can be used on the most delicate items such as silver and gold plate. This wheel should not be contaminated with any other compound.Safety Information

Great for use with a die grinder
Using these on a die grinder works great. (moderate your speed, we're polishing stuff not making clouds of flannel!) On a drill, it works alright - but the softer wheels like this really like a higher RPM in my opinion. Use these with white, blue, or red compound for a great shine on aluminum. The drill I used, couldn't handle the 6" wheel I had laying around because it didn't have the torque. But @ 4", the torque is great, but you lack RPM. Was a little difficult to pick up compound at the low RPM, but if you were using a bench motor or a die grinder, as long as your compound stick is clean, it'll pick up compound just fine. Remember to use finesse, using pressure with a soft wheel like this is counter-productive. I just used a feather touch over some of the larger contours of a valve cover, and it brought out a shine I didn't know existed. I prefer using a blue compound with the Canton flannels, and the red compound on a Domet flannel.
