Quality compound
Nice even consistancy! I've used other brands and have had inconsistant chunks of abrasive. Not the case with this stuff.

Great all-purpose compound
This is going to be your best all-around buffing compound. If you're polishing wheels and don't require a super-fine finish, this is the compound for you. This will provide a super high luster to aluminum, but you might see some small hazing from the wheel, but if we're working on wheels or outdoor stuff, I wouldn't be concerned with going farther than this. Unless you're well 'learned', you probably won't realize the difference between this and white rouge on aluminum. Use brown tripoli on anything that doesn't require a lot of cutting action, like smooth aluminum parts - or the barrels of wheels. Valve covers and engine pieces come to mind. If you're working on a show-car, by all means go to a finer compound but I think this will get you the results you're looking for. I generally hit my piece with a spiral sewn, and then follow up with light pressure on a loose cotton wheel to even out the sheen. Doesn't leave a satin-like finish like the black compound.
