I have used The black Caswell Dye on all my Silencers and it's amazing.
The black Caswell dye has always performs well over the past year for me. I have anodized many parts and it is still great without dong anything. I have tried powder forms of dyes and have nad no luck with them. It was also ver hard to mix the other powder dyes. Caswell liquid dye mixs perfectly and effortlessly every time. Thanks Caswell for making my anodizing a huge success. Also the free red you gave me looked amazing.

Intense black
Intensity of this black is extreme. Beware various types of aluminum will dye differently, I'm working with 5000 series and it works great.

Pricey, but works fine...
I'm still not sure why black anodizing dye is so much more expensive than other colors. I was also a little surprised to receive the dye in liquid form. Other colors I have bought - not from Caswell - were in powder form, so they were a little easier to divide for 1 gallon mixes. Caswell Reply - Black is a mixture of many primary colors and is much more expensive to manufacture.
