It gets the polishing off to a great start
I've been using one of these with a 6" sisal wheel to begin polishing stainless bar and tube after removing scale and blemishes with flapper wheels down to 120 grit. It is very effective at removing the fine scratches from the flapper wheel and quickly prepares the surface for the next stage of polishing with a green compound.

Quality compound
Nice even consistancy! I've used other brands and have had inconsistant chunks of abrasive. Not the case with this stuff.
