Good product. Strong smell. Some unsolved swirls in the final plate but overall extremely bright and durable finish.
Have used this a few times. I foolishly bought a "complete starter kit" on Amazon, but it's cheaper to buy the individual components on CaswellPlating.com... So that was a learning experience. You'll need a good fume hood, there's a very strong ammonia smell for this bath, but you cannot argue with the results. I get an extremely bright finish that is durable - even against a wire wheel (tried just to test the plate). There is, however, a strange swirl within the plate that you can see when the light shines at certain angles. I'm still quite happy with the product, but I haven't yet figured out how to get rid of the swirl contaminate pattern. The first few plates were completely clean, and as I've used the product and successively regenerated the solution, this strange swirl pattern has become more pronounced within my plated parts - which means I've probably reached the end of use for this bath, and just need to make another bath... but it could mean that my boil-off of ammonia is less than they assumed, and I've been adding more replenishment solution than is needed, causing a buildup of ammonia in the sauce. Nevertheless, the solution has worked well and served me well. Strongly recommended.
