Take a look at some of the automotive
projects completed with our products.
Thank you for your constant support and additional
advice about the gold plating. As you can see the product
came out great. I used the Plug -N- Plate system and the Chrome
stripper. It took about two hours and a lot of stroking, but
it was worth it. I am a high school teacher and the students
are going to be amazed.

The dome light bezel is the first PERFECT piece I have turned
out of the nickel. And just think!!! I owe it all to you and
the first kit I bought.
The first photo is the connnection on
-- believe it or not -- a brand new door switch, right out
of the box, bought
from a dealer today. It looks like it's been sitting around
outdoors for a decade. It was the only one he had in stock,
and electrical parts aren't returnable in any case.
The next photo is the same switch after 10 seconds in the
gritblast box, a little burnishing with a stainless steel "toothbrush",
and a few minutes in Caswell
Tin.
Most electrical and electronic contacts
(as in connectors) are either tin-plated or gold-plated.
I recall being
told by electrical engineers that tin is actually preferable
in some applications and environments, but I don't recall
why. I see a lot of gold in electronic stuff (like the
contacts on digital camera memory for example) but under-hood
connectors, connector pins for trailer lights, etc always
seem to be tin-plated. - Don Foreman

Racing Team Vintage Midget Restoration A few examples. 2 nuts for rear
cover of rear end. 1 bolt for holding together rear wheel
bearing assembly.
This is a picture of a Ignitor cover
on a MK IV Toyota Supra. I plated this with Copy
Chrome™ and
this was my second attempt.
The first was a failure but it was because of improper preparation
on my part. It is so important to follow the manual to the
letter and save yourself some work. After I went back and
read the manual from cover to cover this was the result of
a 20 min plate.

This is a Mercedes Boscsh alternator before and after restoration,
only the two bearings and the brushes are new. All steel
parts: bolts,
fan, pulley etc., were plated with Copy Cad® kit and treated
with Yellow Chromate from Caswell.
I just wanted to show you the results I obtained using your
system. Consider me a happy customer. Eric Jackson
