1/8" watertight pushrod/rotory
actuator seal
The 1/16” & 1/8" watertight seal, when glued into the face of
your WTC bulkhead forms a watertight seal around any 1/16” or 1/8" pushrod
you use to actuate a control surface, torpedo launcher or other item requiring
linear motion of the rod through a watertight gland. The plastic body contains
a rubber O-ring type seal within that makes watertight the moving union between
pushrod and WTC. These seals are not recommended for use with high speed or sustained
rotary shafts (propeller shaft).
Seal body outside diameter 3/8"
Seal body length 7/8"
For shafts 1/16” and 1/8" diameter |

3/16" propeller
shaft seal
The 3/16" watertight shaft seal, when glued
into the face of your WTC bulkhead, forms a watertight
seal around any 3/16" propeller shaft or any
other rotary shaft that has to pass through a watertight
gland. These seal bodies contain a replaceable rubber
cup type seal who's compression around the shaft
increases with outside pressure. These seals are
not suitable in applications where the internal pressure
of the WTC will exceed that of the outside water.
Seal body outside diameter 3/8"
Seal body length 1/2"
For shafts 3/16" diameter |

The push rod seal may be glued in with silicone rubber,
but the propeller shaft seal is best glued in with
Superglue. |
