UC-35 is a 3.5 VOC, National Rule and SCAQMD Rule 1151 compliant version of UC-1. It may be used to topcoat any urethane or polyurethane enamels, and any SHIMRIN® Base Coat color. UC35 gives a high-gloss, has excellent weathering and UV resistance. UC35 dries fast and hard, and can be colored sanded and buffed the next day
This product is a 3.5 VOC, National Rule and SCAQMD Rule 1151 compliant product. It may be used to topcoat any of our urethane or polyurethane enamels, or any of our SHIMRIN® Base Coats. UFC35 gives an ultrahigh gloss finish with good abrasion resistance, is very flexible and polishes and buffs easily. Requires KU150 Catalyst and Kosmic Reducer.
This product is a 1.9 VOC polyurethane clear coat with application properties of low solids clear coats. UFC19 is 33% solids as applied and buffs easily the next day. It meets the low VOC regulations and handles like conventional clear coats like UFC1. It gives a high gloss finish with excellent weathering and UV resistance. Requires KU190 Catalyst and Kosmic Reducer.
A protective clear for artwork tape outs on SHIMRIN®Base Coats. May be used to blend SHIMRIN® Pearl and Metallic Base Coats, to mix Pearl and Kandy Koncentrates, and to cut the SHIMRIN‚ base for touchups and blends.
NOTE: Use only when top coating with urethane enamel. No catalyst required. Must be top coated with UC1, UFC1, UFC19, UFC35 or UC35.
UCC01 is a National Rule topcoat clear that fits a "middle ground" between UC35 and UFC35. It has a high acrylic content for good hardness and exceptional fuel resistance just like the UC35, but provides a slower cure for a good speed and better user friendliness. Compared to UFC35, UCC01 offers a faster cure for better production speed, with a little less flow out. This product is more suitable for any National Rule application, big or small, including motorcycles, giving all painters another great option to choose from.
