Don’t stop at your paint – clay your glass!

Diamondite Spray Clay is formulated to remove embedded contaminants from glass to create a clean, smooth appearance. It can’t actually remove etched spots, but it will thoroughly clean them so they appear virtually invisible. Water spots created by mineral deposits will disappear, along with oily films and dirt. Your windshield will appear crystal clear to the naked eye.

Bugs, dirt, and debris hit your windshield with tremendous velocity. Believe it or not, they stick in your glass, not just on it. That’s why it’s so hard to get your windshield clean. This powerful cleaner will prep your vehicle for acid rain spot removal and will buff away residue in a flash!

Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner is formulated to work in sync with the Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection Kit to leave glass crystal clear and streak-free. Use Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner to prep the glass for Spray Clay and then use the cleaner again to wipe the glass completely clean.

It is important to remember that Diamondite is a multi-step process, and to completely ensure that your Spray Clay works in the manner it was designed for, we recommend you use the Glass and Surface Cleaner to prep before and after application. Using the cleaner before will remove tiny particles that are embedded in your glass. Glass is not as smooth as it looks and feels, it’s actually “pitted”, and what lies in those pits are tiny particles of debris and dirt. Here is how Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner works:

Prep Prior to Spray Clay Use: Consider it the primer before the paint, except priming in this case is in the form of powerful cleaning. Apply the spray foam on your car’s windshield (and paint if desired). Once you spray, you will easily be able to see where you’ve targeted due to the white, foamy solution. The powerful detergents will seep within each groove and “pit” in the glass, as well as any scratch marks or grooves in your paint.

Use to Remove Residue and Haze: After you have applied Spray Clay, use this cleaner to buff away any haze or residue left behind. Remember that it is normal to see such residue, and it is easily removable by using the Glass and Surface Cleaner. After you buff, you will see your windshield glass has a shiny, reflective finish, as all of the acid rain spots that once clouded the glass have disappeared for good.

After you have buffed the surface, you are ready to apply Diamondite Shield, to ensure the grooves are sealed. One can of Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner normally will clean two vehicles.

Diamondite Shield seals the microscopic pits in glass so it is totally smooth. The benefits of this are two-fold: dirt and oils cannot penetrate the sealed glass, and wiper blades will not skip over the smooth surface. Your glass remains sealed for up to 6 months and your wipers last longer.

Because the tiny valleys are filled, even etched glass appears crystal clear. Water spots disappear and new spots are less likely. The treated surface repels chips, scratches, water, UV rays, pollution, and dust.

A windshield treated with Diamondite Shield is easier to clean. Because the texture of the glass is smoother, dirt, oils, and film have nothing to grip. Even ice loses its grip on the glass. Contaminants sit on the surface of the glass so they wipe off easily.

Directions:

1. First, clean your glass with Diamondite Glass & Surface Cleaner.
2. Then apply Spray Clay to the included sponge and lightly scrub the glass.
3. Allow it to dry to a haze and then use Glass & Surface Cleaner to wipe it off.
4. After your glass has been thoroughly cleaned, apply Diamondite Shield and allow it to dry to a haze.
5. Remove the haze with a clean, soft cloth. Your glass will be protected for up to 6 months!

Diamondite Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner ™ uses nonionic surfactants as its primary cleaning agents. Unlike ammonia, surfactants lift and suspend contaminants without affecting the glass itself. Car exhaust is one of the primary culprits of the hazy films that appear on the outside of your vehicle’s windshield. It causes the windshield wipers to leave streaks that create unsafe visibility. The key to cleaning automotive glass, particularly the windshield, is to use long strokes in both directions. Use a soft, clean Cobra Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towel to wipe up and down in long strokes. You should start at the top of the glass and wipe all the way to the bottom. Then flip the towel and wipe across the glass at least to the middle of the windshield. Getting auto glass completely clean may require a couple of tries – after all there is airborne pollution and oil on it – but the good news is that you can achieve perfectly clear, streak-free glass with DIamondite Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner™.
